Aleppo -Terrorist groups violated on Sunday Aleppo’s truce by firing rocket and mortar shells on a number of residential neighborhoods in Aleppo city and countryside.
A source at Aleppo Police Command said that the terrorist groups violated the truce in Aleppo by targeting the residential neighborhoods in Jam’yiat al-Zahraa, al-Ramousa, al-Assad Suburb and Karam al-Jabal in Aleppo city, causing massive material damage to private and public properties, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The source added that the terrorist groups also fired rocket shells on the residential neighborhoods in Nubbul and al-Zahraa towns in the northern countryside of Aleppo, causing material damage to citizens’ possessions.
On Friday, the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces announced that the truce in Aleppo city which does not involve ISIS, Jabaht al-Nusra and other terrorist groups listed on the international terrorism list will be extended for 48 hours as of 1 a.m. on Saturday May 7th, 2016.
