Syrian Air Force continues targeting terrorists, destroys convoy of ISIS vehicles

Provinces – The Syrian army air force on Tuesday continued to target gatherings and vehicles of the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and the personnel, SANA reported.

Homs

The Syrian army air force carried out intensive sorties against gatherings and movements of terrorist groups affiliated to ISIS terrorist organization in the eastern countryside of Homs central province.

A military source said that the army air force destroyed a convoy of vehicles and a number of mortar launchers and cannons for ISIS terrorists in intensive sorties against their gatherings and movements to the north of Palmyra City, in the surroundings of al-Shaer oil field, the field No. /106/ and to the east of the field No. /110/ and in the Furat area.

77 km to the east of Homs City, the Syrian army air force carried out airstrikes against fortified positions and infiltration axes of ISIS terrorists in Hwaises village and to the south of Jib al-Jarrah town where a number of their dens and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed, and a number of them were killed.

Army units foiled an attack by ISIS terrorist organization on a number of military posts north and east of al-Shaer oil field in Homs eastern countryside.

A number of ISIS terrorists, including a leader of Saudi nationality, were killed and an armored vehicle, a mortar launcher and a mortar position were destroyed in the army’s operation.

Hama

The Syrian army air force carried out sorties against dens and movements of the ISIS terrorists in the northeastern countryside of Hama central province.

The army air force destroyed terrorists’ vehicles and gatherings in al-Alyia village and to the east of Ethrayia-Khanaser road in the northeastern countryside.

Sweida

A military source said that an army unit launched accurate strikes against one of ISIS gatherings in in al-Maftra village in the northeast countryside of Sweida, destroying two vehicles, one of them equipped with a heavy machinegun.

Deir Ezzor

The army destroyed gatherings and mortar launch-pads for ISIS in a number of areas in the eastern city of Deir Ezzor.

Field sources said that a unit of the army carried on fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists in al-Sina’a neighborhood in Deir Ezzor.

The sources added the clashes ended up with the killing of a number of terrorists and the injury of many others, among them so called terrorist Abu Ayoub al-Halabi.
