Twenty Civilians Martyred, Dozens Wounded in Fresh Rocket Attacks on Aleppo Residential Areas and a Hospital

ALEPPO- Some 20 civilians were martyred and tens of others were wounded on Tuesday in terrorist groups’ rocket fire that targeted several residential areas in Aleppo as well as hospital.   

This is a preliminary death toll that may rise within the coming hours because of the non-stopped terrorist shelling.

 Six civilians were killed on Tuesday and scores were injured due to terrorist attacks with rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Aleppo City, SANA reported.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told the state news agency’s reporter that terrorists fired rocket shells on the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street, al-Siryian, al-Khalidyia, al-Moukambou, al-Sabil and the surroundings of al-Rahman mosque claiming the lives of 6 civilians and wounding 37 thers.

The source indicated that the terrorist attacks caused a huge material damage to the houses and proprieties of the civilians and to the infrastructure in the targeted neighborhoods.

A source at Aleppo Health Directorate said that most of the wounded civilians were children and women and their injuries were severe so the number of the martyrs might increase.

Terrorists target al-Dhabeet Hospital in al-Mouhafaza neighborhood

Later in the day, SANA correspondent in Aleppo reported that three women killed, 17 other women and children were wounded and big material damage was caused by terrorist organizations’ attack with a rocket shell on al-Dhabeet Hospital in al-Mouhafaza neighborhood.

The source added that another 11 civilians were martyred, and dozens were wounded in terrorist attacks with 65 rocket shells launched by armed terrorist groups on the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street, al- Sabeel, Mocambo and al-Razi hospital in the city.

On Monday, four civilians were injured when a mine planted by ISIS terrorists went off in Taban village in Hasaka southern countryside and a number of persons were wounded in another terrorist attack with rocket shells on Ayn al-Kroum village in Hama northwestern countryside.
