Al-Attar says intellectuals have key role in defending Palestinian cause

Vice-President Dr. Najah al-Attar has underscored that writers and intellectuals play a key role in defending the Palestinian cause, indicating that Palestine will achieve victory thanks to its sincere people and those who believe in its just cause. 

Her remark was made during her yesterday’s meeting with the Secretary General of the Palestinian Writers’ Federation in Ramallah the poet Morad al-Sudani and the accompanying delegation.

 

Dr. al-Attar stressed that the Palestinian cause will remain the central Arab cause, referring to Syria’s support for the cause.

On his part, al-Sudani asserted the Palestinian writers’ support for Syria in its war against terrorism, hoping that the new generations will continue struggle till the liberation of the Palestinian lands.

On April 27th, the branch of the al-Quds International Institution in Syria launched the al-Quds Day to be held in the last Wednesday of every month in order to back al-Quds cause and to draw attention to the importance of standing by the al-Quds city in confronting the attempts of Judaizing it.

The cultural activity comes within the project of resisting the Zionist plot, which targets all parts of the Arab nation, according to the Presidential Media and Political Advisor Dr. Bothaina Shaaban, who attended the lecture held last Wednesday on al-Quds [Jerusalem]. 

The al-Quds International Institution adopted several recommendations to support al-Quds’s people through standing by the al-Quds Intifada and calling on the Palestinian authority to stop security coordination with the Israeli occupation authority and urging the Palestinian factions to form committees to back the al-Quds’s families and the martyrs’ relatives.
