Nine Martyred, Scores Injured in Terrorist Rocket Attack and Sniper Shooting in Aleppo

ALEPPO-The armed terrorist groups’ rocket fire, mortar shells and sniper shooting continue to target innocent people in different Aleppo areas in a further violation of the cessation of hostilities agreement.

 Today, nine civilians were martyred and scores were injured in terrorist rocket attacks and sniper shooting against Aleppo neighborhoods, SANA reported.

According to Aleppo Police Command source, the terrorists positioned in Bustan al-Qaser neighborhood fired rocket shells on al-Meridian neighborhood in Aleppo city, claiming the lives of a man and his wife, as their house was destroyed while they were inside, and injuring four other civilians.

 The source said that a sniper from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization positioned in Bustan al-Qaser neighborhood targeted the locals of al-Masharqa neighborhood and shot dead two civilians.

Also five people, including two children, were martyred and 40 others were injured in terrorist rocket attacks on al-Midan and al-Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods and in the vicinity of Saadallah al-Jabiri Square and al-Qaser al-Baladi (Municipal Palace), the source added.

Also on Wednesday, seven civilian were martyred and 35 others were injured when terrorist organizations targeted with rocket shells and snipers’ gunshots al-Aazamiya, al-Masharfeh, al-Suleimaniya, al-Muhafaza, al-Jameeliya, al-Azeeziya, Bab al-Faraj and Suleiman al-Halabi neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
