Al-Zou’bi: Terrorists are Targeting Civilians Because They are Confused

DAMASCUS- Information Minister Omran al-Zou’bi said on Sunday the recently intensified terrorist attacks against civilians reflect the terrorist groups’ confusion due to their defeat in the battle with the Syrian Arab army and  due to their backers’ failure to realize their plots in Syria, SANA reported.

In a phone call with the Syrian TV, al-Zou’bi expressed his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to defeat terrorism and its supporters, mainly the Saudi and Turkish regimes, commending in particular the people of Aleppo for their resilience against the terrorist crimes.

 He said the general political scene has become very clear now, stressing that the Syrian leadership will never give up one inch of the Syrian soil no matter how long the crisis might last.
