Medical Health Exhibition Opened

Damascus, (ST) – With the participation of about fifty local and international companies, the Medical Health exhibition opened here at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, in parallel with the 9th Scientific Conference of the Medical Association of Damascus.

In a press statement, General Director of Masarat Company for Exhibitions and Conferences Anas Zabian emphasized that many of the medical and pharmaceutical companies from the provinces of Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Aleppo, Homs, Tartous and Lattakia in addition to a number of international companies from Switzerland, France, South Korea, pointing out that companies will display the latest radiology and pharmaceutical equipment and operating room devices.

 

Mr. Zabian pointed out that the exhibition coincides with the 9th scientific conference of the Damascus Physicians, which will focus on a number of topics, including epidemiology, autopsy, incurable diseases and inflammatory, compression of the spinal nerve roots and back pains in the context of general diseases and gynecology, oncology and treatment of radiation in addition to the management of injuries of wars and disasters.

He also said that a high-level Russian medical team will take part in the in conference to talk about the management of casualties in wars and disasters. Some 45 lectures will be delivered by a number of physicians and specialists from Syria and the participating countries.

“Masarat Company for Exhibitions and Conferences will contribute to the various economic, commercial and scientific activities, bazaars and shopping festivals, launched  by the General Establishment for Exhibitions and International Markets during the month of April this through medical health fair,” Mr. Zabian concluded.
