Syrian Army kills ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in several areas
Provinces – The army and armed forces continued combating terrorism in various provinces of the country, killing ISIS terrorists and destroying their vehicles and ammunition, SANA reported.
Homs
The army’s air force carried out during the past 24 hours intensive sorties targeting ISIS convoys of vehicles transporting terrorists and ammunition north and east of Palmyra city, a military source said on Thursday.
Scores of vehicles were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed and injured in the airstrikes.
Damascus Countryside
20 ISIS terrorists killed
An army unit carried out a precise operation targeting one of ISIS movement direction from the northeastern countryside of Sweida towards their fortified positions to the southeast of Bir al-Qasab area in Damascus Countryside.
The operation, which was based on accurate information and close observation, resulted in the death of 20 terrorists and the destruction of a number of their vehicles, some equipped with machine guns.
Daraa
An army unit clashed with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations infiltrated to the vicinity of a military posts near Daraa /Gherbet Ghazaleh road in the northern countryside of Daraa province.
A number of terrorists were killed and injured as their arms and ammunition were destroyed.
Other army units clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra- affiliated terrorist groups that attacked a military post in Daraa al-Balad.
The clash resulted in foiling the terrorists’ infiltration attempt and killing and injuring many of them.
Aleppo
Army units targeted gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and their vehicles in Tal Hidiyeh and al-Barqoum villages, Abu Shleim and al-Hadabeh al-Khadraa areas and in the towns of Khan Touman and al-Hader in the southern countryside of Aleppo province.
The terrorists suffered heavy losses and their vehicles, some of them equipped with various machineguns, were destroyed in the army’s operations.
Other army units killed and injured members of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in al-Mansoura, Hazmar and Kafr Hamra villages in Aleppo western countryside.
An armored vehicle for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists was destroyed in al-Rashideen neighborhood on the western outskirts of Aleppo city.
In Aleppo northeastern countryside, a number of ISISI terrorists were killed and injured and their weapons were destroyed in Fafin village.
