The book fair held by Directorate of Culture in Hama has attracted large number of visitors as there are discounts on the 4000 books’ prices being exposed there.

The discounts (60-70%) aim to encourage people to read books, according to the Director of Culture Directorate in Hama Issa Hammoud, who indicated that people prefer reading through internet.

He asserted that the fair being held on the occasion of the Syrian Book Day seeks to attract youths to read printed books and to stimulate intellectual production.
