Parliamentary Elections in Syria a Step forward towards Better Future in the Country – Czech Politician

PRAGUE, (ST)- Elections of the People’s Assembly, due to be held in Syria on Wednesday give hope that the situation in the country will improve and indicate that Syria is making steps forward towards building its peaceful future, a Czech party official has underscored.

 “Vierra Vlasarova”, Head of the Foreign Policy and Security Department at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Moravia in the Czech Republic said in an article published by the Czech “Halo Noviny” newspaper on Saturday, “these elections will be held at a significant time for Syria’s future, particularly because they are being organized amid remarkable victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in its war against terrorism.

She hailed the army’s recapturing of Palmyra and al-Qaryaten cities, stressing that this victory leads to tightening the siege on ISIS terrorists and it is a step forward in the process of eliminating terrorism.

The Czech politician hoped that the crisis in the Syria will end soon and that peace will be restored to the country so as to start rebuilding what terrorism has destroyed.
