Syrian air force destroys ISIS vehicles and positions in several areas

Provinces – The Syrian army’s air force on Thursday conducted a series of sorties targeted ISIS positions and vehicles in several provinces, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and weaponry, SANA reported.

Deir Ezzor

In Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian air force destroyed vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, and two positions for ISIS terrorists in the villages of al-Murieya and al-Jaffra in the eastern countryside of the province, a military source said.

 Meanwhile, the Syrian air force raided positions and gatherings of ISIS in al-Tabqa airport and the southern countryside of Raqqa province.

The source added that the raids resulted in destroying vehicles and positions of the Takfiri organization as well as killing a number of its member .

Homs

The army’s air force also carried out sorties on ISIS terrorists’ dens and gatherings to the east of Homs central province.

A military source said that the sorties targeted ISIS terrorists’ dens and positions to the north and east of Palmyra city and to the south of al-Sukhneh town, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and vehicles.
