University students visit military checkpoint in Sweida countryside

About 30 university Students have visited a military checkpoint in Salim town in the northern countryside of Sweida to express appreciation for the Syrian soldiers who are defending the homeland.

The visit was organized yesterday by the Students Union in Sweida on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Student’s Day, according to the official news agency (SANA), which quoted soldiers at the checkpoint as saying that they are ready to sacrifice their lives for preserving Syria’s unity and sovereignty.

 The agency added the students stressed – during the visit- that Syria will triumph thanks to the steadfast soldiers and the Syrian people’s support for them.

Since 2011, Syria has faced a terror war targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructure.
