Moscow – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani asserted that the achievement of reclaiming Palmyra city by the Syrian Arab Army constitutes an important event in the efforts being made to fight terrorism.
The Kremlin’s press office said in a statement on Monday that the two presidents discussed in detail during a phone call the Syrian Arab Army’s operations which resulted in ridding Palmyra city of ISIS terrorists, SANA reported.
