Premier al-Halaqi receives a delegation from Nubbul and al-Zahraa towns

Damascus – The government will make sure that every village and city to which the army restores security be rehabilitated and provided with services, said Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi on Saturday.

His remarks came during a meeting with a delegation representing the locals of the towns of Nubbul and al-Zahraa in Aleppo that were for long besieged by terrorist organizations, SANA reported.

The army restored security to the two towns on February 3th, ending a stifling terrorist siege since 2013 under which the locals suffered shortages of food and medical supplies and came under repeated shelling attacks by the terrorist groups.

The Premier took the opportunity of the meeting to laud the unshakable resilience shown by the two towns’ people throughout the siege period.

The locals’ resilience was strengthened through the constant efforts of the government bodies to alleviate their suffering under the siege, using various means to regularly supply them with the necessary food and medical stuff.

Al-Halaqi stressed that the government efforts to improve the social and services situation in the two towns will continue.
