Romanian author calls for halt to unjust war on Syria

The Romanian author George Bogdan has called for international cooperation to halt the unjust war on Syria and to reach a peaceful solution to the ongoing crisis in the country.

He said -during a symposium held Friday in the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest- that what is going on in Syria is unjust terror war against Syria’s ancient civilization, which is the basis of the world human civilization.

Bogdan, who chairs the “Next Generation Romania”  Association briefed the participants in the symposium about the association’s activities and how it deals with the immigrants issue.

The immigrants issue is being blackmailed by Turkey, the Secretary General of the Romanian Police Unions Marin Groia said, adding that it would be better for Europe to allocate the billions of Euros it gave to Ankara  to support the Syrian government in order to resolve the  problem of the immigrants inside the Syrian territories.

On his part Professor Anton Hadar, Head of the University Unions Federation in Romania, pointed out Syria’s key role in fighting terrorism, calling for unifying all efforts to eliminate terrorism and not blackmailing immigrants issue for achieving political goals.

He, in addition, talked about the historic relations between Romania and Syria. “The civil society in Romania in cooperation with the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest will do their utmost to explain the reality to the public opinion in Romania and Europe. And we hope that peace and stability will be restored to Syria.”

The Syrian Ambassador spoke during the symposium about what is going on in Syria and how the terrorist organizations wreak havoc in the country, affirming that Syria will remain steadfast in confronting terrorism.
