Well over 4.200 kids and youths will take part in a singing contest to be held by the Syrian ‘al-watan’ Association by the beginning of April to select the best Syrian voice.
The contest comes within the framework of the activities of Syria’s happinesses festival 2016.
Secretary of the Festival’s organization committee Ramadan Afif said that the participants in the contest will be divided into two groups according to ages: the first group will include girls and boys aged 7-13, while the second one is made up of participants aged 14-35.
“The three-stage contest will be held in Rametta theater in Damascus in order to show the rich history of Syria’s civilization and the ability of its people to be creative during difficult circumstances,” Afif concluded.
