Media forum for supporting Syrian woman

The participants in the 2nd media forum for supporting the Syrian woman have underscored the need to focus on the psychological and humanitarian topics related to woman and to enhance media’s role in reactivating woman’s role in reconstruction process in all fields.

They also called for drawing up programs to improve the economic and social situations for woman and to help her to carry out small and medium projects in several sectors, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted Director of the Syria Drama Television Channel Raeda Waqqaf as saying that the role of woman in reconstruction process is a completion of her steadfastness during the war being waged on Syria.

She referred to the Syrian woman’s active role in local reconciliations.

On his part, the reporter Reda Zidan talked about the situation of educated woman in social media.

The 2nd media forum for supporting the Syrian woman was held yesterday by the Journalists Union in Damascus.
