12 civilians and 2 electricity workers injured in terrorist attacks in Aleppo

Aleppo – 12 civilians were injured in terrorist attacks with mortar and rocket shells on al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood on the northern outskirts of Aleppo city.

The shelling is a new breach by the terrorist organizations of the cessation of hostilities agreement that came into effect on February 27.

Local sources said on Wednesday that terrorists positioned in Bani Zaid neighborhood targeted on Tuesday al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood with tens of rocket and mortar shells.

Some 12 people were injured in the shelling, which caused huge material damage to houses, the sources confirmed.

In a relevant context, two electricity workers were injured Wednesday as a landmine of those left behind by ISIS terrorists went off on Aleppo-Khanaser road.

A source at Aleppo Governorate explained that a team from Aleppo Electricity Department was working on the alternative power line Aleppo-Khanaser-Athrya as the landmine exploded, leaving two of the workers seriously injured, SANA reported.

The army restored stability and security to Aleppo-Khanaser road on February 29.
