Russian Defense Ministry: 8 breaches of “cessation of hostilities” by terrorist organizations observed during past 24 hours

Moscow – Russian Defense Ministry said that 8 breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement were observed during the last 24 hours, 5 of them were in Aleppo countryside, 3 in Daraa, Damascus and Idleb countryside, SANA reported.

A statement by Head of the Russian Center for Coordination in Hmeimem Airport, Lieutenant General Sergey Koralinko described the situation in Aleppo countryside as “the most tension”, saying that armed groups from “Liwa al-Sultan Murad” and “Brigade 16” and “Ahrar al-Cham” have shelled al-Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood 4 times with mortars.

 

He added that the besieged town of al-Foua’a in Idleb countryside was subject to artillery shelling by terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra, which led to increasing the bad situation there with depriving its families from medicine and food, pointing out to the need for evacuating the children, women and the elderly from the besieged town.
