Al-Halaqi hailed the efforts of the technical committees which contributed to developing bilateral relations, affirming that the joint agreements will open new channels for settling investments in Syria, SANA reported.

The agreements will mark a turning point in the joint work between Syria and Iran and benefit peoples in the two countries, al-Halaqi added, indicating that they will help enhance the Syrian economy and meet the needs of local market.

During the meeting, Secretary General of the Cabinet Taisir al-Zoubi and Zargar reviewed the results of talks and what has been reached in the fields of industry, transport, agriculture, banking, oil, pharmaceutical and medical industries and communication.

For his part, Zargar stressed the Iranian government’s keenness on activating joint work to enhance the steadfastness of Syria at all levels and combat terrorism, affirming that Iran will support Syria under all circumstances.
