Ingredients
2 cups brown lentils
1/2 cup rice
2 large onions, cut in slices
2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon cumin
salt

1-Fry onion slices in oil, over medium fire for 5 mins.
2- Boil the lentils (+salt) around ½ hour in generous water. Grind in blender to get a puree.
3- Add onion to the (lentils puree), with ½ cup water.Put on medium fire, once it starts boiling, add rice and cumin.
4- Boil for another 10-20 mins until it becomes a well combined.
5- Pour in serving dish, can be eaten cold or hot.
