ISIS terrorist attack foiled in al-Qaryatain town in Homs

Provinces – Army and Armed Forces units, backed by the Syrian Air Force, continued targeting Jabhat al-Nusra, ISIS and other terrorist organizations across the country, destroying their vehicles, positions and weaponry and killing scores of terrorists, SANA reported.

Earlier, an army unit on Monday foiled an attack by ISIS terrorists on a hill in the vicinity of al-Qaryatain town to the southeast of Homs central province.

A field source said that an army unit destroyed with a rocket a vehicle rigged with big amounts of explosives before it reached a hill in al-Toloul area near al-Qaryatain town.

The army’s air force destroyed vehicles and positions for ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of al-Qaryatain city and Jazal oil field, Mhassi, al-Sawaneh and in the vicinity of al-Bayarat area in Homs countryside.
