SIA Confirms Commitment to Developing Human Resources Efficiency

Damascus,(ST)-  Deputy Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority (SIA) Dr. Inas al -Umawi confirmed that the investment of the human element is one of the most important pillars adopted by the SIA as well as commitment of the management to the development and full support of human resources efficiency.

At the evaluation meeting to the plan of the SIA, Dr. al -Umawi pointed out that SIA launched initiatives in the framework of encouraging proposals policy, development and creative views.

”The plan includes measures to be adopted e to develop and build the capacity of human resources and requires “the development of performance evaluation systems,” and to focus on key elements including follow-up performance, evaluating and correcting distortions that can arise during the implementation of the plan,” Dr. al -Umawi clarified.

It is worthy mentioned that the Syrian Investment Authority isan independent body and administratively belong to the Cabinet and is working on the implementation of national investment policies and the preparation of the investment map in coordination with the concerned parties within the government’s priorities and the national economy.
