Interior Ministry Invites Citizens to Return Home,Political Opposition to Participate in National Dialogue

DAMASCUS,(ST)- Based on the political program to solve the crisis in Syria and the government’s statement to put the said program into force ,the Interior Ministry,on Thursday released a statement that underlines the item No.7 of the preparatory phase that provides for rendering guarantees to Syrian citizens who left the country because of the ongoing events legally or illegally and irrespective of procedures taken against them ,to back home where they will enjoy facilities and tackling their status especially for those who do not have documents at the borders’ posts.

“the returnees ,in coordination with the Syrian Red Crescent, will be received at airports and the  following borders’ posts(Naseeb,Jdeidat Yabous,Tanf,Areeda,Dabousiya,Ya’rubiya and Kasab),”added the statement.

In another statement ,the Interior Ministry made it clear that the item No.8 of the political program provides for offering guarantees to all opposition political forces to visit,stay and leave Syria without hindrances .

The main aim of the said item is to allow these sides to take part in the national dialogue .

This will be done in coordination with the National Reconciliation Ministry and the ministerial committee tasked with materializing the national dialogue.

“they will be provided with all facilities including tackling their statues and offering them documents signed by head of the border post,” underscored the ministry.

“the Interior Minister will issue executive instructions  to the borders’ posts in a bid to put this statement into effect,” concluded the statement.
