It is Time to End the War

Despite the multiplicity of conferences held in order to resolve the crisis in Syria, unfortunately they all revolve in a vicious circle. The main reason for the obstruction off ending a political solution to the war in Syria is the lack of real political will of all the parties which are concerned in a way or another with the aggression on the Syrian people.

Undoubtedly, the foreign powers and their allies which are strongly involved in the war on Syria want a solution that serves their interests and ambitions in Syria and the region as a whole. This seems so clearly in their continuous supporting to the terrorist groups through the last 5 years.

This thing proves that the great powers do not care about the Syrians’ real interests.

More seriously, the so-called foreign oppositions are linked to these great powers; therefore these oppositions have lost credibility and seriousness because they are but tools in the hands of their masters. These oppositions think that they may have the ability to influence any political process to resolve the crisis in Syria.

Hence, the most important issue here is fighting terrorism, and all countries that participate in the aggression on Syria must realize that there is no real political solution without uprooting terrorism. In addition there must be a sincere intention to abide to resolutions 2253 and 2254 and the emphasis on the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, taking into account the respect of the Syrian sovereignty and the Syrians’ right to determine the future of their country.

All those countries which claim that they want to end the war in Syria must be more serious in finding a solution to the crisis and ending the suffering of the Syrians and restoring security and stability to Syria and the region.
