Al-Halaqi discusses with Iran’s first Vice President means of developing relations

Damascus – Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi discussed in a phone call with Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri commercial and economic relations between Syria and Iran and means of developing them in all fields, mainly in the field of providing the needs of the Syrian people, SANA reported.

Jahangiri asserted the keenness of the Iranian people and leadership to stand by the Syrian people and leadership in confronting the terrorist war and to alleviate the effects of the economic siege imposed on them.

He also lauded the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army and the ability of the Syrian people to face the economic challenges.

 

For his part, al-Halaqi congratulated the Iranian people on the 37th anniversary of the victory of the Iranian revolution, appreciating Iran’s support for the Syrian people, and expressing confidence that the resistance axis will be victorious.
