Syrian Army’s Victories over Terrorists a Turning Point in Ongoing War against Syria: Czech Analyast
PRAGUE, (ST) – Czech political analyst and journalist Tereza Spencerova has asserted that the victories being achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo and other parts of the country “is a turning point in the ongoing terrorist war waged on Syria.” She has also stressed that the terrorist organizations are divided and despite the huge support they are getting from foreign sides they witness daily humiliating defeats.
In an article published by a Czech newspaper on Tuesday, Spencerova said “these victories will pave the way for more progress towards eliminating “Daesh” terrorist organization.”
She pointed out that Turkey’s President Recepe Tayyib Erdogan, who is one of the main supporters of Deash, has felt panic because of the Syrian Army’s gains, so he started claiming that Russia was responsible for the war in Syria.
The Czech journalist also clarified that developments in the battlefield in Syria have led the United States to “reconsider” its support for the outside opposition, as stated by the US Secretary of State John Kerry recently in London. Kerry’s remarks have frightened Riyadh and Ankara because now they have to watch the “opposition” they have supported collapsing, thereby their dream of emerging as two regional powers disappeared. “This is why Turkey and Saudi Arabia are making statements on their intension to send ground troops to Syria,” Spencerova said.
