President Putin says Russia won’t interfere in Syria’s internal affairs

STAVROPOL, Southern Russia- Russia will not interfere in Syria’s internal affairs. Moscow’s task is to help Syria’s legitimate authorities to overcome terrorism, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

 “We are not going to interfere in the state form of government and in the solution of problems that Syria and other regional states are facing,” Putin told students of the North Caucasus Federal University on Monday according to the Russian news agency Itar Tass.

“Our task is to help the Syrian people and legitimate government to fight and liquidate terrorists on the Syrian soil,” Putin said.
