Takfiri Terrorists Prevent Humanitarian Team from Entering Fou’a and Kafraya Towns in Idleb Countryside

NEW YORK, (ST)- The takfiri terrorist groups have prevented a joint humanitarian team, representing the United Nations, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), from entering Idelb countryside’s towns of Kafraya and al-Fou’a which have been besieged by the Saudi and Turkish linked “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorist group for more than two years.

In a joint statement with SARC and ICRC, the United Nations said the joint humanitarian team was compelled to delay the trip to al-Faou’a and Kafraya after receiving reports from “armed groups” that they (groups) need more time to complete what they called “security arrangements in the areas under their control.

The statement added the team will keep trying to reach these two towns.

Tens of reports confirm the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Kafraya and al-Fou’a because of the terrorist attacks on civilians, infrastructure and houses and because of the tight siege imposed by the terrorist organizations on the two towns.

According to the statement, joint humanitarian teams managed yesterday to enter the third batch of humanitarian aid to the towns of Kafraya and al-Fou’a in Idleb and to al-Zabadani and Madaya in Damascus countryside simultaneously.

Also, fuel shipments were handed over to Madaya, Kafraya and al-Fou’a towns while food and medicine supplies have had access to Zabadani, according to the statement.
