Almost 1,100 terrorist facilities hit in Syria by Russian aviation since year’s start

The Russian aviation group has delivered strikes since the beginning of the year at 1,097 terrorist facilities in Syria, chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian Army General Staff Lieutenant-General Sergey Rudskoy said on Monday according to the Russian RT.

A total of 311 sorties have been made over the first 10 days of 2016, and strikes were delivered in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia, Hama, Homs, Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, Hasakeh, Deraa and Raqqa, TASS quoted Rudskoy as saying. Infrastructure facilities, oil production, processing facilities, terrorists were hit, he said.
