The army establishes control over many areas in Lattakia, kills more terrorists in different areas

Provinces – The army and armed forces continued combating terrorism all over the country, killing scores of terrorists, destroying their hideouts, foiling their infiltration attempts to safe areas and establishing control over new areas, SANA reported.

Lattakia

Army units and the popular defense groups established control over al-Daghdaghan farm and Rweiset Abu Ghannam, Rweiset al-Sheikh Salman, al-Sarraf village, al-Hara Mount, Bait Fares Mount and a number of strategic hills in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

 Hama

Army units killed 28 terrorists from the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” in Morek and Atshan in the northern countryside of Hama.

Deir Ezzor

In the eastern province of Deir Ezzour, army units clashed Wednesday night with ISIS terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from the villages of al-Jafra, Hweijet Saker, al-Mrei’yeh farms and al-Dagheem area towards Deir Ezzor military airport.

ISIS terrorists were inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment during the clashes as many of their vehicles, equipped with heavy and medium machineguns and loaded with arms and ammunition, were destroyed by the army.
