DAMASCUS, (ST)-Participants in the International Youth Forum for Solidarity with Syria have reiterated their support for Syria in the confrontation of the global terrorist war and stressed their rejection of all forms of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.
The participants expressed confidence that Syria will surpass the ongoing crisis thanks to the determination of the steadfast Syrian people to keep fighting the takfiri terrorism that threatens the entire Arab nation.
Talking to SANA about their participation, representatives of some delegations said they came to voice their constant support for the Syrian leadership, army and people in the face of the ongoing terrorist aggression.
Chairman of the General Union of Yemeni Students Mu’taz al-Qurashi asserted that holding the forum in Damascus affirms “Syria’s right policy and correct vision about the ongoing terrorist war.” He pointed out that “there is an international consensus, even by Syria’s enemies themselves that Syria is being exposed to a heinous war that needs collective work to be stopped.”
Maximilian Matis, member of the German Communist Youth organization, clarified that he took part in the forum to express solidarity with the Syrian people and to know what is really going on in Syria so he can convey the truth to the German people.
Ali Ayoub, from the Palestinian Youth Organization, said “Syria is being exposed to a global terrorist war due to its firm support for the Palestinian people and their cause.”
Member of the Lebanese Youth Movement Manah Hamadeh stressed that “Syria is the beating heart of Arabism and the land of freedom fighters, who will struggle to liberate Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.”
Taking part in the forum are youth organizations representing 20 Arab and foreign countries including Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Democratic Korea, Turkey, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Libya, Jordan and the Comoros.
