GOVERNORATES,(ST) A military source announced that Zour Abi Seif area in rural Hama is safe after the elimination of armed terrorist groups and demolishing their shelters there.
The source added that army units foiled terrorists attempt to detonate several improvised explosive devices at Halfaya bridge in Hama.
In Aleppo city 4 cars equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed in a series of quality operations against terrorists gatherings in Rasm al-Abood , al-Dweirne, Meyer, Daret Ezza and Bayanoun, whereas scores of terrorists were killed or wounded in Hananou, Allirmoun, and Bustan al-Bacha.
In the meantime, the armed forces confiscated 54 barrels of gasoline, loaded in 4 cars and a sum of 395 thousand Syrian pounds stolen by terrorists from Sadcop company branch in Khan al-Asaal in Aleppo, according to an official source.
The source detailed that the stolen goods were confiscated following confrontation between the armed forces and all terrorists were left killed or wounded.
In Rural Idleb, several cars carrying terrorists, weapons and ammunition were destroyed in a qualitative operation against their centers in the surrounding of Taftanaz town.
In Homs scores of terrorists were eliminated and their car fitted with a machine gun was destroyed during attacks against their shelters in Jobar al-Sultaneya areas.
Among the killed terrorists were Ahmad Shannour, Abdo Zeib, Salah Khattab, Ammar Turkmani and Ali al-Shelli.
Also eliminated were scores of terrorists and their attempts were thwarted to detonate explosives in Mleha Darya, Duma Farms and Harasta. Among the killed terrorists were Fajr Abu Shehab leader of the so called “Islam supporters” terrorist group, Ibrahim al-Buqai, Haidar Nateye, Hassan Hamid, Salem Jasem Ramadan, Othman Haddad, Suleiman Tabajo, Majed al-Halabi, Fares Sbieh, Ahmad Nanous, Ratib al-Nasser, Mustafa al-Nabhan and Muwaffaq Friej.
In Zabadani the armed forces destroyed a terrorist gathering including machine guns and automatic assault rifles, whereas several terrorists were killed, including Ali Dahboul and Ahmad Hassan al-Kweifi
In the context of targeting of national cadres and competencies the armed terrorist group on Thursday assassinated Colonel Engineer Walid Abboud in front of his home in Qatana, Rural Damascus.
Member of the Syrian Parliament and a brother for the martyred Col. , Khalid Al Aboud, said that terrorists opened fire on his brother in front of his house in Qattana, while on his way to his work and he was killed instantly.
Martyr Walid Abboud was born in 1964, and is married and has three sons, two daughters and a boy.
Several terrorists were killed or wounded in a fighting between the two groups over a dispute on sharing stolen property looted from citizens and service institutions in Yabrud town in Rural Damascus. Terrorists Muhammad Salah and Nayef Ode were killed during the fighting.
