‘The Mother’ Syrian film to be screened in Homs

HOMS, (ST) _ Syrian film directed by Bassel al-Khatib on a group of women in a time of war is to be screened in Homs house of Cultural on Wednesday,  according to the official news agency (SANA).

The film entitled ‘The Mother’ depicts the Syrian situation in the light of the current crisis and woman’s role in confronting it. It is produced by the General Cinema Institute.

 Renowned  Syrian actresses : Sabah al-Jazaei, Solaf Fawakherji, Dima Qandalaft, Nora Rahhal, Lina Hawarneh, Suzan Sakkaf and Rana Karam perform in the film.
