Syrian- Iraqi Transport Cooperation

Damascus, (ST) -Transport Minister Dr. Ghazwan Kheirbeik said he had discussed recently with his Iraqi counterpart prospects of joint cooperation in land, air and railway transport between the two countries.

The Minister, in a statement he made to local press, said that he discussed with his Iraqi counterpart means of cooperation in the field of aviation and the exchange of experiences and information, especially the desire of Iraqi side to take advantage of the Syrian expertise.

 He said that the two sides agreed on the development of the railway sector between the two countries and to increase cooperation.
