Diplomatic Source: Next Vienna Meeting on Crisis in Syria May Be Held before Dec 25

VIENNA, (ST)-A senior diplomatic source in Vienna announced yesterday that the next meeting on the crisis in Syrian may be held in the Austrian capital before December 25th.  

According to the source, “the next ministerial meeting on Syria could be held in Vienna before Christmas”.

Vienna hosted two meetings for the foreign ministers and representatives of some 20 countries and organizations to discuss crisis in Syria. The meetings resulted in a call for launching a political settlement process in Syria by the beginning of 2016 led by the Syrians themselves.

 The United Nations was tasked with forming a unified delegation comprising all spectra of opposition and Jordan was asked to host a coordination center aiming to prepare a list of the terrorist organizations which won’t be part in the presumed ceasefire agreement.
