3 citizens martyred, 28 injured in terrorist attacks on Damascus and Hasaka

Provinces – Two women were martyred and 26 others were injured, including 16 students, due to terrorist mortar attacks on the residential areas in Damascus, according to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

Terrorists, positioned in the Eastern Ghouta, fired a mortar shell which landed on the compound of Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro, (an institute affiliated to al-Sham Higher Institute for Islamic Sciences, Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Researches) in Rouken Eddin neighborhood, leaving 14 citizens injured, 4 of them are in a critical condition, and causing material damage.

 Two women were martyred and 9 injured by 3 shells landed on Bab Touma.

3 mortar shells landed on al-Amara neighborhood, Baghdad Street and the area surrounding the Customs rotary, causing material damage to number of the cars in the place.

A medical source at al-Moassat Hospital confirmed that 2 students and a professor were injured when a shell hit the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

A civilian martyred, 2 injured in explosion of ISIS land mines in Hasaka

 A civilian was martyred and two others were injured in the explosion of two land mines of the remnants of the armed terrorist groups affiliated to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the eastern and southwestern countryside of Hasaka province.

A land mine went off on Tuesday in the village of Marzouka in Tal Barrak, about 42 km east of Hasaka city, killing a civilian and injuring another.

A source in Hasaka national hospital said that the hospital received an injured person who was affected by an explosion of a land mine in Abdel Aziz Mountain area, about 35km southwestern of Hasaka .

The sources confirmed that the two mines were from the remnants of ISIS terrorists before they were defeated by the Syrian Arab Army aided by the popular defense groups and the national backing units.

Earlier Tuesday, a civilian was martyred in the explosion of an explosive device planted by the ISIS terrorists at one of the houses of al-Nua’maniyeh village in the southern countryside of Hasaka city.
