Egyptian actress wishes President al-Assad victory in fighting terrorism

The renowned Egyptian actress Ilham Shaheen has expressed admiration and appreciation for the Syrian Arab army’s steadfastness in fighting terrorism over the past nearly five years .

She  said : “I greet President Bashar al-Assad from the bottom of my heart because he is fighting those mercenaries and I wish him victory.” SANA reported.

Speaking in the 100 questions Program on the Egyptian al-Hayat Television, Shaheen referred to reports confirming that the terrorist mercenaries in Syria hold dozens of nationalities, including Afghani and Caucasian, and receive support from Qatar Sheikhdom and other regimes.

She described the so-called the ‘Arab Spring’  as a trap and trick to fragment the Arab nation and its armies. ” Since the 2003 invasion of Iraq led by the United States, the conspiracy started against the strong three Arab armies- Egyptian, Syrian and Iraqi- to destroy them.”
