Army kills more terrorists, establishes control over new areas across the country

Provinces – Units of the army and the armed forces on Monday continued to tighten the noose around the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, establishing control over new areas and destroying terrorists’ headquarters and equipment and killing scores of them, SANA reported.

Homs

Hawareen and Maheen under Army control

 Units of the army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established full control over Maheen town and Hawareen Village after destroying the last positions of ISIS terrorists in them in intensive military operations carried out in the southeastern countryside of the central Homs province.

Units of the army are combing the town and the village which are about 85 km to the southeast of Homs City, and they are dismantling the explosive devices planted by ISIS terrorists among houses of the citizens and at the roads and the agricultural lands.

Earlier Sunday, the Syrian Army Air Force conducted a series of strikes against positions and movements of ISIS terrorists in the two towns, destroyed their positions and killed all terrorists inside as well as destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.

Lattakia

1154 height under army control

 Full control was established over the Height 1154,5 in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia province after the army units in cooperation with popular defense groups inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the arms and personnel.

Units of the army and the armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups continued to advance in the northern countryside of the province, establishing control over the Height 1154,5 around one km to the south of Kabbana village.

Army units used special tactics that are suitable for the nature of the area, killing scores of Takfiri terrorists, most of them of Afghani nationality, in addition to destroying their fortifications with all the arms and ammunition inside them.

Deir Ezzor

More than 40 ISIS terrorists killed

Units of the army and armed forces killed more than 40 ISIS terrorists and destroyed a number of their headquarters and stores of ammunition and of manufacturing explosive devices and other explosives in Deir Ezzor Province.

Headquarters of the ISIS terrorists were destroyed, one of them was used for manufacturing explosives, in special operations carried out by units of the army against dens of the ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of Aisha School and Conserves Factory and in al-Ashara in al- Mayadeen City in the southeastern countryside of the province.

Units of the army, positioned in Deir Ezzor Military Airport, killed 6 terrorists, one of them was of Chechen nationality, in the surroundings of the Airport, in addition to destroying one of the terrorists’ trucks at al-Taim oil field.

Meanwhile, one of the headquarters of ISIS terrorists was also destroyed and all terrorists inside were killed in al-Jafra village in the eastern countryside in a special operation carried out by a unit of the army.

More than 28 terrorists were also killed and a number of their headquarters, which were used for manufacturing explosive devices and storing arms and ammunition, were destroyed in operations carried out by the army against ISIS hotbeds in the neighborhoods of al-Hwaiqa and al-Omal and near al-Siyasia Bridge in Deir Ezzor City

 Hama

More 28 terrorists killed in Hama province

The Syrian army air force targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Kafer Zaita town and Atshan village in the countryside of Hama province, destroying a number of their headquarters with all weapons and ammunition inside them.

Meanwhile, a self-claimed leader of the so-called “al- Izza Battalions and Brigades Gathering”, nicknamed Ali al-Laban and 3 of his group’s members, among them Mohammad al-Mustafa and Khaled al-Badawi were killed in the army operations in Kafer Zaita village in the northern countryside of Hama province.

An army unit destroyed 2 vehicles for the so-called Jund al- Aqsa terrorist organization, killing 13 of its members in Murek town, 30 km north of Hama city, among them the self-claimed leader Asa’d al-Kasem, Khaled al-Hussein, Mohammad al-Ashtar and Ali Younes al-Hamad.

Another 11 terrorists were killed including self-claimed leaders Ahmad Yaser al-Katan, Khalif al-Ali and Khaled al-Abdali and a mortar and rocket launcher pad was destroyed in the army operations against the so-called Jaish al-Fateh terrorist organization in the villages of Lahaya, Ma’arkabeh and Atshan.

Idleb

At least 12 terrorists killed in Idleb Province

In the southern countryside of the bordering  province, an army unit targeted the terrorist organization’s gatherings in al-Hamdiyeh village, destroying 2 vehicles for them and killing 7 of their members, among them Muhanna Bilal.

Another army unit killed at least 5 terrorists of the so-called Jund al-Aqsa terrorist organization.

Aleppo

The Syrian army air force targeted positions for ISIS terrorist organization in the villages of Akomeh, Rasm al-Abd, east of Kaskeis village, Deir Hfer town and Tal Ayoub in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.

A number of ISIS terrorists’ positions and various machinegun- equipped vehicles were destroyed in the air force raids.

The army inflicted heavy losses on ISIS terrorists in personnel and weapons in Shamer village, Talet al-Shawaya in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo province.

In Aleppo southern countryside, army units targeted positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri terrorist organizations in the villages of Khan Touman, Kherbet Ma’rata, al-Ameriyeh, Karm Azeeza, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and arms and vehicles.

Meanwhile, army units thwarted terrorist groups’ attack on the axes of Talet Bazo, Talet al-Rakhm, al-Hekma school and Talet al-Sunawbariyat in Aleppo countryside, killing most of their members while forced others to escape.

In Aleppo city, army units destroyed hideouts for Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Said, al-Ramousa, al-Ma’adi and Halawaniyeh.
