Terror mortar attack on area north of Damascus

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)_ Terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Islam’ [Islam Army] fired today two mortar rounds on al-Wafedin camp area in Damascus countryside province, killing at least one person and wounding over 9 others.

According to a police command source in the province, the mortar rounds fell on the Military Housing Establishment in al-Wafedin camp area, which is located north of Damascus city and near the flashpoint Duma area.

 

Yesterday, terrorist organizations fired more than 23 mortar rounds on residential areas in Damascus and its suburb, killing 2 persons and wounding 15 others, local social media said, adding that 15 cars and several shops were damaged in mortar attack on Daheyet Harasta suburb in Damascus countryside.

The US, France, Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations in Syria, world media reports confirm.
