Solidarity festival with Palestinian Intifada and Syria’s steadfastness in Damascus

 

DAMASCUS, (ST) _ The Syrian-Arab Popular Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project in cooperation with Palestinian resistance factions organized on Monday a solidarity festival in al-Assad Library in Damascus.

Speaking in the festival, member of the Baath Arab Socialist Party’s Regional leadership Arkan al-Shofi said that Palestine, whose’ Arabism is being violated daily amid silence of reactionary Arab regimes, will remain the central cause.

“The Palestinian Intifada will continue against the Zionist entity, which is supported by the petrodollar countries that also fund terrorists in Syria,” he added, pointing out that the Palestinian people offers martyrs for defending its land and restoring its usurped rights. 

 Assistant Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command TalalNaji called for ending the Palestinian division and building a democratic political system to drive the occupation out of Palestine.

“Today, Syria is paying the price for its historical stances towards Palestine and its adherence to Arab nation’s causes,” he said, asserting that Syria and Palestine will foil the Zionist plot that targets the region.

There were also other speech in the Festival that hailed the axis of resistance, Russia and al-Mayadeen TV channel.
