“Syrian Colors” bazaar is an opportunity for creation

More than 120 craftswomen and craftsmen participated in “Syrian Colors” bazaar, which was held in the “Umayyah” Hall at the “Sheraton” Hotel for three days.

The bazaar displayed various handicrafts, including embroideries, crochet, food, as well as accessories, linens, perfumes, bags, cosmetics, precious stones, in addition to medicinal aromatic products and others.

The Bazaar organizer, Rana Al-Tabbaa, told “Syriatimes” : “Most of the participants work at their houses or in small workshops and display their products via social media”.

“In this Bazaar, you notice that there are new ideas such as dresses for dolls, new designs for clothes, new accessories and new products of skincare,” Al-Tabbaa added, indicating that most of the participants in this bazaar are young men.

“This bazaar is a market for participants to display their products with the aim of making money from selling them to help them meet the requirements of life,” she said.

Participant Adnan Mahfouz displayed handmade chocolate he produced within his small workshop. It is not his first participation in such event. He has started to participate in bazaars three years ago.
Another participant Siwar displayed soaps and creams for skins under the supervisor of Arij Al- Ali.

She participated in this event, which is held monthly to communicate with visitors and to know what they prefer as well as to study the market’s needs.

For her part, Carla, a Fine Art graduator, showed drawings on recycling papers, wood, and cork. She participated in this event to acquaint people with her works. She sees such events as an opportunity to promote products, especially for those who do not have a private shops.
