Shaaban, Shanghai city CEO discus cooperation in reconstruction and technology

 

Beijing -Presidential Political and Media Advisor, Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban discussed on Saturday with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shanghai city Chung Ming means of benefiting from the Chinese expertise in the fields of reconstruction, sciences and technologies.

During the meeting, Mrs. Ming briefed Shaaban on the industrial, technological, scientific and economic development aspects in Shanghai city which is considered as the economic capital of China, SANA reported.

 The two sides exchanged viewpoints about the ways of making use of the Chinese experience in reconstruction and technology, particularly as China seeks to establish an advanced scientific center of an international impact in Shanghai.

Ming welcomed Shaaban’s proposal to invite Syrian musical and cultural activities to participate in the annual cultural festivals in Shanghai.

Both sides also agreed to activate media cooperation between the two countries through direct channels instead of having news through western mass media.

Dr. Shaaban also invited Mrs. Ming to visit Damascus.
