Cabinet in session to materialize Al-Assad’s plan, says al-Zou’bi

DAMASCUS,(ST)- “the Cabinet is in session to implement presidential vision as regards setting up  mechanisms and implementation the  ideas of  the national program that included the speech of H.E President Bashar Al-Assad in a bid to resolve the crisis in Syria ,” underscored Information Minister Omran Zou’bi noting that the discussion tackles the crisis in Syria in-depth  from the historic- time axis since the onset of the events.
In press statements today, the minister pointed that the  internal and external political reality ,the current challenges , available possibilities ,a far-sighted and serious look  at the reality on national base from concepts that do not uncontroversial and concerning national sovereignty and independence of national decision will be tackled.
The minister reiterated  that the invitation is open and addressed to all opposition forces to participate in a national dialogue based on data of respect for national sovereignty and rejected foreign intervention in all its forms and rejection of hegemony and guardianship over national decision.
“the discussion addresses all aspects starting from the side which regards violence and terrorism and the existence of elements and terrorist organizations through economic ,public freedoms, human rights ,detainees issues , details and the essence of the national dialogue and how it should be and with whom.”reiterated al-Zou’bi.

Al-Zou’bi made it clear that the debate is long , comprehensive and   difficult because there are a lot of opinions , proposals and concepts,” adding “there will be a committee of the Council of Ministers to begin to communicate with all forces , political and national figures, in preparation for holding a conference of national dialogue.”

In response to a question about the timing of the speech, al-Zou’bi stressed “it is not linked to any date, but came in accordance with the Syrian timing to launch this national program to overcome the crisis”.

“How did some of the foreign ministers to take a stance  from President Al-Assad’s speech and the set program while  time did not help them even to translate the speech,”wondered al-Zou’bi.
