Iran, Iraq, Syria and Russia Join Hands in Campaign Against Daesh

Bagdad – Spokesman of Iraqi government said on Sunday that the government has increased level of cooperation with Iran, Syria, and Russia in regional campaign against the Daesh terrorist group.

Saad Hadithi, the spokesman of Prime Minister Haider al-Ibadi said in a press conference that a coordination committee to both analyze and exchange information among four governments will soon be established comprised of representatives from the four countries.

‘Main objectives of the quadrilateral coalition will be monitoring the terrorists’ movements to stem their operational capabilities and capacities.’

Moscow joined the coalition with three Muslim countries for international campaign against terrorism with serious concern that terrorists from Russia are joining the Daesh terrorist both in Iraq and in Syria.

Hadithi expressed certainty that intelligence cooperation will help the campaign against Daesh as the Iraqi forces would fight terrorism with broad-open vision.

Meanwhile, the Russian government said on Saturday that the Russian Federation along with Iran, Syria and Iraq have established an information center in Bagdad for more effective campaign against Daesh terrorists.

According to the Iraqi government the management of the quadrilateral intelligence center will be rotating among the four countries once every three-month.
