Syria a Promising Market for Investment

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Arab, foreign and local companies participate in “Rebuild Syria Exhibition 2015”, which takes place on the ground of the Fairs City in Damascus Countryside.

The Executive Director of the Bashiq Foundation for Trade and International Exhibitions, the organizing of the exhibition, Salma Djanet said in a statement to reporters that the Exhibition witnessed several visits by businessmen and owners of local companies to identify the products offered by foreign and Arab companies.

Jean-Pierre ever care, The General Manager of the Lebanese Sibali Company and confirmed that “that the Syrian market is promising to invest in the near future and it is one of the most important markets in the region,” and his participation to display products and to identify the businessmen and owners of companies.

The Commercial Director of the German Bekio Company Nabil Maghrabeih said that his participation in the exhibition is a result of their belief in the Syrian market, adding : “We know the Syrian market very well and today we are returning to Syria to restore the previous relation with merchants and businessmen. He revealed that there is a study in the final stages to make investments in the production and marketing within Syria, saying that the reconstruction work is a part of Bekio Company.

Bana Sipho, Director of Marketing and Communication in the micro-finance said that  granting  loans for all projects of different types of commercial, industrial and services is very important and necessary.

Eng. Imran Gopi from the Trading and Contracting Company said that his company has a long history in the field of construction and infrastructure works and channels of water, bridges and roads considers  his company’s  participation in the exhibition a step in the right direction.

Nayla Sursock and Maha Saadeh from the Lebanese Remark Company for Engineering and Building believe that their participation in the exhibition comes from a sense of responsibility to the reconstruction of Syria.
