Syrian army kills 15 terrorists in an ambush, destroys arms cache plus weapons-laden car

PROVINCE,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 15 terrorists in an ambush in the northwestern countryside of Hama and has destroyed a weapons laden car and an arms depot belonging to terrorist organizations in Daraa and Aleppo, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted filed sources as saying that an army unit killed more than 15 terrorists in an ambush on terrorist group that infiltrated into the outskirts of Kherbet al-Naqos town in al-Ghab plain in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

The sources added that terrorist organizations were inflicted heavy losses during army units’ operations in Kafer Zetta and south of al-Taman’a and Atshan near administrative boundaries between Idleb and Hama.

Several vehicles belonging to terrorists were destroyed in an area located west of al-Latamneh town, about 35km north of Hama city.

While in the southwestern countryside of Idleb, army units killed 7 terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ [army of the conquest] in Kafer Ewed town, about 70km west of Maaret al-No’aman area.

In the southern Front, army units killed 8 terrorists and destroyed a weapons-laden car belonging to them in Abazaid quarter in Daraa al-Balad area and foiled terrorist group’s infiltration bid into Sejneh quarter in the same area.

Add to that, army units targeted a terrorist group affiliated to the al-Nusra Front south-west of Ghazaleh bridge in the northeastern countryside of Daraa and destroyed a mortar emplacement belonging to ISIS terrorists in Kherbet Saed area in the northeastern countryside of Sweida.

In the northern Aleppo province, army units destroyed an arms cache belonging to terrorist organizations plus two terror hideouts during intensified operations in the southern and eastern countryside of the province.

Separately, SANA reported that 115 wanted persons from Damascus and its suburb turned themselves in to the competent authorities for regularizing their situations.
