Iran Advises US to Give up Bullying Behavior

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham advised the US to give up it bullying behavior, adding that if US prevents the destabilizing and warmongering measures of its allies, world will be safer place to live.

In a statement released on Friday, she referred to the US President Barack Obama’s statement after approval of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in the US Senate and called the statement paradoxical.

It was failure of US policy of sanctions and threats, she added, that forced Washington to sit at the negotiations desk.

US president is desperate and tries to interpret the outcomes of nuclear negotiations in favor of White House, but the reality is that US gave up its excessive demands at the final stages of nuclear talks, Afkham noted.

She also called the nuclear talks a great achievement of Iran that ended a fabricated crisis against the Islamic Republic.

US finally accepted Iran’s right for enrichment, and in the meantime accepted to remove the sanctions, Afkham added.

She referred to the improvement of relations between Iran and other members of P5+1 except US, adding that it is just US government that being influenced by Zionist lobbies escapes the reality and continues anti-Iranian actions.

Iran is the pivot of security and stability in the region, Afkham underlined.

She noted that Zionist regime’s provocative actions are the source of unrests in the region and the US is a culprit in Tel-Aviv’s crimes.

Afkham called selling the advanced weapons to the regimes and groups that have invaded the Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Yemen as examples of US destabilizing measures in the region.

Berlin sees Iran deal as ‘window of opportunity’ for Mideast diplomacy

On the other hand in Berlin, Germany regards the Iranian nuclear agreement as a ‘window of opportunity’ for settling other Mideast crisis hotspots, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Martin Schaefer told the press in Berlin on Friday.

Asked by IRNA about Iran’s diplomatic efforts in helping to resolve Middle East conflicts, Schaefer noted, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has repeatedly said that the July 14 nuclear accord provides hope for a new approach in the region as well as a ‘window of opportunity’ for solving other difficult crises in the Mideast, including Syria.

The July 14 agreement has revived these communication channels to talk openly on issues of mutual concern on the basis of new relations between Tehran and Berlin. The Iran visit by Foreign Minister Steinmeier serves this objective to use these new possibilities for open and frank talks, Schaefer added.

Steinmeier is to embark on the trip to the Islamic Republic following an invitation by his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, according to Schaefer.
