Two terror explosions rock Hasaka city, killing 17

HASAKA,(ST)_Two terror explosions ripped through Hasaka city, killing at least 17 persons and wounding 70 others on Monday, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified that a suicide terrorist blew himself up inside a car bomb in Khsham quarter in the northern edge of Hasaka city, killing 5 persons and wounding 30 others.

“The first terror explosion left big damage to homes and infrastructure in the scene,” a police command source said, adding that another terror explosion took place about half an hour after the first explosion in al-Mahatta quarter west of Hasaka city, killing at least 12 persons and wounding 40 others.

Most of the wounded persons in the second explosion were women and children, according to a medical source. 

On July 5, ISIS terrorists exploded a car bomb the main electricity convert station in the southern edge of Hasaka city, leaving casualties.
