Spiritual leadership of Muwahhideen Muslims: Sweida blasts aim to foment sedition

SWEIDA,(ST)_The spiritual Leadership of al-Muwahhideen Muslims sect [Unitarian Muslims] in Syria has condemned the two terror blasts that hit Sweida city yesterday, calling on the people of Sweida to put out the fire of sedition and not to attack the state establishments.

The leadership said in a statement released today that the blasts were carried out by terrorist and Takfiri gangs to undermine the national principles and to foment sedition.

“These gangs are bothered by the unity between Sweida people and our army units,” the leadership said, stressing that the awareness and wisdom of the official circles foiled the plan of the Takfiri terrorists to drag our youths into sedition.

Earlier today, the official news agency (SANA) quoted the Police Chief in Sweida city Maj. Gen. Mohammad Samra as saying that the situation in the city is calm and stable.

Yesterday, terrorist exploded two car bombs in Sweida city, killing at least 26 persons and wounding scores more.
